What we collect

• Newsletter subscribers: email address, signup source, confirmation status, consent timestamp, IP address, user agent, unsubscribe token, and estimated email open events.
• Reader submissions: name/email if provided, source URL, message, timestamp, IP address, and user agent.

Why we collect it

We use this data to send the newsletter, prevent abuse, maintain consent records, process unsubscribe requests, and review reader-submitted MCP projects, feedback, and sponsorship inquiries.

Legal basis

Newsletter email is sent with your consent. Security logs and abuse prevention are processed under legitimate interest.

Your rights

You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email. For access, correction, deletion, or export requests, email contact@mcpnewsletter.com.

Retention

Subscriber records are kept while you remain subscribed. Unsubscribed records may be retained as suppression records to prevent accidental re-subscription. Reader submissions may be retained for editorial review unless deletion is requested.

Processors

The service runs on Cloudflare Workers, D1, and Cloudflare Email Sending. DNS/mailbox services may be provided by Cloudflare and PrivateEmail/Namecheap depending on configuration.
